Break Function

I making a Drawing, in this drawing I made a section, and in this section I made a Break, but this Break make a break also in my main piece, how can I make a Break only in the section view with out affect my main piece

Tip: To switch on or off the inheritance of the break, right-click the view, and select Edit View. Open the Display Options tab of the Drawing View dialog box, and select the Break option in the Cut Inheritance section.

Hi,

In regards to break function, I have two questions, 

1.-Can I modify the symbol so I can use a customized one? ( can I get the *.sln or the programming file and customize it?

2.-How can I retain the same location of the part without losing the dimension or better yet update the dimension and retain the same size of view so all the call outs stay in the same place.

1-Currently Inventor only supports the 2 styles of break symbols 

2-I'm not exactly sure what you mean there..

Hi mcgyvr,

If the function only supports 2 types, Can I do a plugin to have different symbols for the break function?

I don't want to start from scratch, so does anybody have the project for Visual Studio?

I appreciate all the help or at least some starting point for this.

On the other hand, if it is not well explanatory. What I meant is that when the part size changes everything move so I want to hold in place the part with all annotation around the part and the break should be modified but in place and the dimension is the only one that should be updated. Otherwise, everything is lost.
