Bolted connection wrong direction

I have a custom bolt that needs to sit flush with the plate.

When I place the bolt from te content center it's orientation is ok.

When I use the bolt with the bolted connection it's orientated in the wrong way.

You might need to elaborate on your process a little more. But, from what I'm seeing all you need to do is simply use the constrain command to constrain the bolt to the part and then constrain the work planes to orient the bolt correctly.
