Blending parts into one unit

This ASM (an anemometer wind cup) is made of three parts, the curved, reinforced sail with the mounting shaft, and the two separate end pieces.

For the purposes of 3D printing, it would be nice to have in as one unified part.

Hoe would I do that in Inventor 2015?

Use the "Shrinkwrap" function and play with the values and options.

Have you tried File>Save Copy as type *.stl?

I have printed hundreds of assemblies as single part (if there is no clearance between faces they will be merged in the print.

Or use shrinkwrap as suggested

or 

start a new part file and Manage>Derive Component and select the assembly to be derived into a single part.
