blacked out Part Window

Hi Everyone,

Upon opening a new part window in Inventor 2020 The window is completely black. I can still interact with the window as if it was displayed properly however. I am running this on an Acer Laptop with the processor - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.00GHz. This system is running Windows 10. See attached picture of what screen looks like. You will notice i have been able to draw two circles in the window as in the thumbtag at bottom left.

Any help would be appreciated.

What do you have for a video card ...?

It's look like it's not going to be certified....

Are you able to get into your Application Options / Display and change the mode you're in?

Hi @jfroome,

Could you try  following:

  1. Run Inventor as administrator (by right click on the Inventor icon).
  2. Create a new Windows administrator account and test it.

Thanks

Hi Jason,

Please update the graphics driver. If you can choose, please install the CAD-oriented driver. Also, make sure all critical Windows updates are installed. Is Inventor running on the dedicated graphics card?

Many thanks!
