AutoCAD to Inventor

Hi,

There's a Revit file that I need to open in Inventor for design work. I'd like to know ways I can convert the Revit file into a file acceptable in Inventor. I tried to convert to DWG and import into Inventor but what opened was a blank drawing form in inventor. I've tried the SAT conversion but I am unable remove the existing components in the Revit file. If you could please share suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,

Keith

Hi Keith,

On Inventor 2021, you can link a Revit .rvt file to Inventor. On Inventor 2020 or earlier, you will need to use STEP, dwg, or SAT file.

Many thanks!
