Sometimes there is no Relationship Audio Notification. I wish to know whether created parts have Relationship Audio Notification.

Note: This is one of the first changes I do when I get a new version.. I turn it off!!!!!  I actually import my Applications normally each time, but it I don't, it's manually done.

If you turn it off how can you make sure parts have been constraint.

Hi fiatnm,

The Audio Notification file is a "somewhat" long file to execute in terms of processes, so sometimes when we're working Inventor must do something that prevents it from having time to play the sound, so it sort of gets skipped. This happens more, when we have a slower machine, or an assembly that requires some thinking on Inventor's part. Example: Adaptive parts must process to update.

I think many people turn it off, and forget about it, and then just watch the constraints in the browser, as mcgyvr suggests.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

it moves into the position I want. .. it shows up in the browser... and most of all years and years of doing it, I've learned what to look for.

However if it doesn't work, you'll get a pop saying it's bad, conflicting, over-constraining ...etc

Hi mdavis22569,

'Old dogs and new tricks', but I guess we should use this more often too. I always forget about it, and only remember it for trouble shooting, but I suppose it's something we might use more often:

I also look at the lower right corner too ...

I look at the total number of constraints still needed and I see if it goes down by 1 ... then I know it worked.

But I've gotten use to using insert for Fasteners and having 1 left ...

Like Curtis said, Old Dog and New Tricks.
