Assembly Pattern

When in an assembly how do i pattern along a sketch. I have a NBW that i want to follow a sketch which has the holes already ion place?

What method would i use as there seems no option for curve driven pattern with Rectangle Tool

Attach the *.ipt file here that has the holes.

Did you use a Curve Driven Pattern for the Holes?

these are the 2 files. These are 2013 files

Fantastic - you did it the right way.

You don't need a sketch in the assembly - you will pick the pattern from the part file to follow that pattern.

There is a little bit of a hidden trick.  I think back in 2013 you had to make the part features visible in the assembly.

Yes i found it by trial/error and it worked.I than tried it without the sketches and it still worked

I got it to work in the assembly mode. I will try the modelling view now
