Assembly modal analysis

Hi everyone!

I'm running a modal analysis of a quite simple assembly. It has two specific modal frequencies at 50 Hz and 150 Hz, but the software only finds the higher. There is a frictionless constraint. My questions are:

1) Is able Inventor to manage assemblies for modal analysis? Which can be the problem?

2) The load is necessary to the analysis?

3) Is correct that, having loaded the assembly in the manner shown in the picture, the deformation has that strange behaviour?

dunque:

1)Inventor can do modal analysis for assemblies

2)The load is not necessary. It makes sense if you want to compute a preloaded mode (in this case you have to flag this option).

3) Consider that the deformation is visually exaggerated. Your materials/stiffness, constraints/contacts, mass distribution/geometry or a pre-load can affect a modal analysis results

I try to make other simulations in order to model the circular spring (fundamental for 50 Hz mode) in a better way. I will let you know if something changes... Thank you!
