Assembly Annotations in a render

Hello,

i am using Inventor 2018.2.3. I have created a 3d Assembly and added annotations to it but they are not visible when i render the object with inventor studio. Is it possible to render the object with annotations visible ?

Assembly annotations are only possible in the assembly itself, DWF output, 3D PDF and STEP (Version 242 - Model based 3D Engineering)

Inventor studio has changed for a few years now..  Smiley Wink

As stated by Mark..

Nope..

You can add whatever you want post rendering though with photoshop or whatever..

Its actually a good idea for the ideastation IMO.. I certainly could see usage for having an option for rendering with the mbd annotations still visible in it..

If you create an ideastation post please put a link to it here and I'll certainly vote for it..

Hi! Indeed, currently Studio Rendering does not include 3D Annotations. Do you mind elaborating the need to have them included? Wouldn't the annotation get in the way of high qualify image? Would you be able to use Realistic View without using Rendering?

Many thanks!

I often create large assemblies which i later render and send to other people via email. I want my pictures to look nice on one hand and still i want to show outer dimensions on the other. Using realistic view is good for small objects but when i create a larger one the quality (resolution ) of the output picture is not good enough.

I could imagine having the exact same need/usage scenario..
