Hi.

Is it possible, if i make an assembly movie, the starting position is dismounted ad the ending position is assembled?

Yes.

This is normally done in the Presentation Environment (*.ipn) but can also be done in Inventor Studio Environment.

The CAD Whisperer mentioned Inventor Presentations.  I want to bring up one point just in case you have not used created one before.  You mentioned that you wanted to show an assembly putting itself together.  When creating a presentation, you first take an assembly and explode it or disassemble it, either manually or automatic.  You may feel this is opposite what you want but don't give up, once finished you can play it backwards and also create a video using the "Reverse" option which is assembling the model.  I have attached a video made using an Inventor and using the reverse option.  It plays with Windows Media Player.

As @jhackney1972 mentioned - you can record going in either direction.

 

This example I recorded exploding in Inventor Presentation.
