Assambly - Components suppressed or excluded (browser symbol circle crossbar)

Hello everyone,

I need your help with a problem. Unfortunately I have not found a solution in the forums.

I have replaced components in an assembly. After this operation, the component is displayed with a gray cross-out. A gray circle with a slanted line is displayed in front of the component. It is similar to the "Suppress" function. Only this

This only happens for some components that I want to replace.

If I open the component that is open in the assembly as described above, it is opened without error. If I just insert the same component into the assembly, then it is displayed normally without this marking.

I am attaching a picture where you can see the symbol.

Can you help me here? How do I get the component to be displayed correctly or to be displayed again?

Many thanks in advance!

Regards

I haven't seen that icon on the assembly browser before - Does your assembly have any FEA attached to it? - It's the icon used for excluded status in the FEA environment.
Can you unsuppress the parts? What happens then?

Hello @YannickEnrico,

Thank you for your quick reply.

The assembly is not linked to an FEA or stored.

You can see the selection list in the right-click menu. I once suppressed the components with these symbols and undid this again. This has no significant effect. Only the symbol of the component changes very slightly.

left component suppressed - right component not suppressed

Hi! I believe the icon means "Exclude" from the particular iAssembly.

Many thanks!
