ARX error - eduplicatekey

We recently upgraded to the Inventor 2008 Suite but had to keep AutoCAD 2006 on a couple of workstations to support specific software (FactoryCAD) for a large customer.

These workstations that have both 2006 and 2008 are getting the following error when opening files:

ARX error eDuplicatekey

You have to hit OK a bunch of times and then it will let you in the drawing. The number of times you have to hit OK on that error message varies per drawing.

I searched the forums and didn't see a signle other post about this error. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brandon

Obviously you didn't search as there is several mentions in Acad forums, there is
even a hotfix.

A simple "here's the hotfix" wouldn't suffice? Thanks for the rude but helpful answer
