Array along path not correct spacing (2024.3.2)

I created a sketch and placed a hole.  This hole should follow the sketch path at a spacing of 2in.  I modeled it using a rectangular array.  When I check the distance between the holes, the spacing is 2in in the straight portions of the sketch, but it is not 2in in the arc section of the curve.  See attached idw.

Hopefully I am missing something that will get the expected results.

Thanks,

Kirk

Hi

The array is conducted along an arc, and the measurement is taken along a straight line.

You can prepare a polyline (part of a polygon) instead of an arc to obtain the desired effect.

Or go the other way - create a sketch within the drawing and measure arc lengths instead of distances between points.

It hit me after I posted that question that the 2in would is an arc length.

Thanks
