Arrange / tile windows and home screen

In previous versions if you tiled a couple windows you could close the home screen since there's no reason to tile a screen with the project lists and recent files.

Now in 23 you're stuck with it and have to just resize the window to a sliver? Am I missing something?

No you are not missing anything :(. The close "x" button was removed from Home window in 2023. However, you can still "Arrange" windows instead of tiling and minimize Home. That would be one workaround.

We are looking into changing the tiling behavior of Home so that it doesn't participate in tiling and not come in the way of other documents. It not a quick fix unfortunately and requires a bit of rework.

For the moment, the only way to turn off Home is to uncheck "Show Home" in Application Options and restart Inventor.
