Are there any major differences between Inventor 2022 and 2025

I have downloaded the 2025 version.

I will have training in Inventor in two weeks, where the instructor says it is a good idea to use the 2022, since he does and it will be easier to support me.

Are there any major differences or can i use the newer version?

There has been hundreds of enhancements in that time, but I don't think we have removed anything since 2022 so everything he teaches should be the same. The only difference might be that they look different. For instance, sheet metal now has a modernised interface, but the basic techniques should be the same.

In terms of support, your instructor can't open the 2025 files in his INV 2022.
If you encounter issues with 2025, they may not be able to troubleshoot & replicate the issues on their end.

If I were you, I'll stick with 2022 for now during class if your instructor is keen on using that version.
