I have this problem now for inventor professinal 2013

I am on windows 8.1 but I need this version of inventor for school

I think it will only work in Windows 8, not 8.1.

Next versions, 2014 and 2015, work in Win 8.1.

2013 works on win8.1 but only after you install the latest service pack & updates.
