Application Manager continuously refreshing

Hi guys.  I recently updated my IV2015 to SP2.  Before I did the update, I uninstalled all of the SP1 updates.

 

Once I finished uninstalling the updates, Application Manager wouldn't display the updates screen.  It constantly refreshes.  see pic.

 

Has this happened to anybody else?

 

I downloaded and installed SP2 manually.

I've seen this issue before with Anti-Virus software...

I could see that causing a problem for people that have that antivirus software.  But I don't have any antivirus software at the moment.

No problem...   Other issues I've seen and resolved with the Application Manager was to uninstall it, put it back on and then let it update.   Here's the link to the application installation: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-application-manager.html

Thanks but that didn't work either for me.  I uninstalled, then reinstalled using the link you provided.  Once it installed, the message window from the task bar came up and said it needed to update AM.  So I click the update button, it updated.  Still the same prepetual refresh situation.  Any other ideas?

It sounds like something is just blocking it...  Firewall, proxy server in place, network settings/security, anti-virus sofware on your server, Windows group policies...

 

If you right mouse click on the application manager in the windows status tray, select settings, and network, what is the proxy type set to?   You may want to try other proxy type options.  Some will require additional information to be provided.

Hey that worked.  Turns out it was my Windows firewall blocking it.  I added AM to the "Allow" list.  Works!  Thank you.
