If you had a reference plane in the model, you could show it in the drawing and get the same dimension.  But without having something to dimension to I don't think it's possible.

You can delete extraneous dimensions that you weren't interested in retrieving.

Yes and no.
Using Retrieve Model Annotations will apply the dimensions as they were applied while the model was created. But if instead of specifying 22.5° - the dimension of 67.5° was used? Yet in the drawing there is a need to show 22.5°?
I know - it is all splitting a hair type of discussion. 🙂 And creating a small sketch in the view is not a big deal, really. But to answer the OP's question I would venture to say that there is no straight forward automatic way to get the dimension he needs. Some planning will be required in advance.
