Hi, im using version 2022.

Is it possible to have a frictionless constraint allow 1 mm of movement in the restricted direction? My construction hits a wall after deforming 1 mm. (it deform approximately 2 mm) as it is now.

@knutjl16

Use prescribed displacement.

Attach your file(s) here.

Hi

Thanks for the answer. I don't understand where I find the prescribed displacement. I tried searching for it but I can not find it anywhere.

I didn't think you would be able to figure out my technique that is why I recommended Attaching your file(s) here.

If your actual data is proprietary then simply make up a dummy set that exhibits the same behavior.

I suspect there are other issues in your general workflow as well.

I had a completely different mistake in my workflow, from solving that this isn't necessary anymore. Thanks for the help though
