Try to right mouse click on the Ribbon to bring up Customize user commands... and go to Key tab, find the command and try to assign shortcuts there.
Hope it helps!
I do thank you for you quick response .The problem is the command dimension is not existed in this list. And my question is how to add this command to keyboard list and then i can assign the desired shortcut
Thanks a lot in anticipation

@Anonymous The Command Name is actually "General Dimension"... Thats what you want and that is typically the "D" key by default when in a sketch
Its also NOT in the "Sketch" category if you were looking for it there.. Its in the "Dimension" category as it applies to inside of part sketches/drawing sketches and directly at the drawing annotation level.
OK, so how do I create a shortcut, as what I'm looking for is not in the lists? I whant to quick swap between a gradiented background to a 1 colour background to do a quick screenshot, and then switch back again.
I hope this can be useful.
I`m using Inventor 2024 and have activated “Use default multi-character Command Aliases”
Some commands have shorter/different names in the customize menu.
For example, the “Insert Sketch Symbol” is just named “Symbols” in the customize menu.
I found out by hovering over the “Insert Sketch Symbol” until a dropdown menu appeared telling me that it already had the hotkey (keyboard shortcut binding) SY.
Question: If someone know a fast way to directly add specific sketch symbols form my local folder to a drawing, please let me know.
