Added "Revision Triangles" to drawing dimensions?

Like many drawings I have seen, back in AutoCAD we always put a "Revision
Triangle" near dimensions that have been revised.

What is the correct way to do this in Inventor 2009 drawings?

Is there an Inventor feature for this, or do you just have to create some
kind of custom symbol and just deal with it like that?

Hi Matt

Would you not just use the revision tag option in drawing enviroment. See attatched word doc.

Thanks

Yeah, there's revision tags on the sidebar. It's grouped with Revision Table.

We actually created our own Sketched Symbol to use as a Rev Flag based on our company standards, we also colored it red for ease of finding on large or heavily detailed drawings.

OK, I found it in the help (Revision Tags).

Too bad I had so little confidence in the Help system, that my first
response was to post a message to the community.

What does that say about software help design in general?

Software help is generally useless. Everytime I try to find something in it, I get a thousand topics unrelated to what I am needing help with.

I do have to say though, that the tutorials that Inventor has are some of the most useful I have ever seen in a program. They are generally useless in programs too, but the Inventor Tutorials are well made and easy to understand, you don't need a teacher to actually do the tutorials.
