Ability to Capture Animations in *.glb export with Inventor 2023?

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to Capture Animations in a *.glb Export with Inventor 2023?

What I have learned thus far:

1)  Animating constraints within an Assy in IV Studio do not persist in the *.glb export.

2)  Driving constraints within an Assy do not persist and can only be exported via the drive constraint UI to *.wmv or *.avi files.

I forward a thanks for any suggestions... and/or if someone on the IV Team at Adsk can please confirm if not supported?

Hi! I don't think it is supported. Here is a Youtube video showing how it is done via a 3rd party app.

There is a support article saying Inventor 2023 supports it, which is wrong. The article needs to be removed.

Many thanks!

@johsonshiue thank you for your reply... however, my ques was not if *.glb export is supported with IV 2023 (it is btw, the article in Adsk page is correct, I use it all the time, works great!)... my question is if "animations" created within IV can be captured within the *.glb export.  NOTE: *.glb files have the ability to play animations that are embedded within them.

Hi! I am very sorry for my ignorance. I don't recall Inventor 2023 supports glb export. Could you show me the workflow? What animation are you trying to capture? Studio or Drive Constraint or Presentation?

Many thanks!

Johnsonshiue, no worries.  The workflow is File, Export to Cad, select *.glb, *.glTF as file format.  Re: Animation... I have already attempted to Drive Constraint and Studio... but they do not persist within the *.glb exported file.  NOTE: Windows has a native 3D Viewer app that will automatically display the *.glb files (and any embedded aminations within them)... when you double click on the file within Windows Explorer.
