H everyone, my outdated laptop broke a couple of weeks back, and I needed it for my Product Design course. Decided to go for a vast upgrade, and bought the UHD 16BG RAM Lenovo Y50-70. Love everything about it, except it's compatability with autodesk programmes.... I've searched around and it seems that the issue stems with the 4K screen and Autodesk's reluctantness to update it's software with 4K support (not an easy thing I know), this didn't even occur to me as an issue before purchase, but I'm now at a bit of a loss.
The basic issue is this: Everything looks fine in terms of the physical modelling within inventor, but large portions of the UI are tiny, unuseable in fact. AutoCAD is the same, and Alias comes out all blurry and horrible.
Examples of shrunk UI are the viewcube and parts tree, as well as the opening box at the launch menu.
Are there any known FIXES not WORKAROUNDS to this, as I've tried every solution I've found, except changing the registry settings (don't think I should have to do that, probably gonna downgrade to the 1080p version if that's the only option)
If any Autodesk employee could affirm (or not) whether 4K and other high DPI settings are going to be supported via a patch or updated software release that would be great.
Thank to anyone else that offers advice.
Regards
