3dConnexion Cadmouse Pro Wireless

I am using a 3d Connexion Cadmouse Pro wireless with Inventor 2021. I am using the mouse with the USB cable, not wireless. The mouse will unexpectedly zoom to infinity as I am working in the model or the 2d drawing. I have to go to "View>Zoom all" to get the model or drawing back into view. It is so annoying I finally switched back to a regular mouse which works as expected. Does anyone have any suggestions or has also experienced this problem?

Thanks. Phil

First thing I would do is right click on the 3D Connexion glyph and select Calibrate...

If that doesn't resolve the issue then I would unplug/turn off and then hold both right and left side buttons and plug back in /turn on still holding the side buttons for 5 seconds.  (Trick to reset the firmware.)

Let me know if this works in your case.

I would also try  -

zoom in to desired size/view

right click on the View Cube and set

your Home Position to Fixed Distance.

You should now be able to simply click on Home to get back to appropriate view.

Okay, I did that too. Will keep you posted.

That did not do the trick. It still unexpectedly zooms to infinity. The "go home" from the view cube is a nicer way to get it back though.

If it only happens with this particular file - I think there is something fishy with the bounding box of the geometry.  Can you Attach the file here?
