Just tried the new 3D PDF function in Inventor and wow it does seem quite slow? Anybody have any luck with the speed of it?
In what way ... I've made about 100 of them ...
larger assemblies ..of say 1000 pieces do take some time ...
Most of mine are from 1 to 100 pieces.
is the 3d PDF only for Inventor 2017? I use 2016, is this an option for me that I am not aware of?

Slow is only part of the problem..
It doesn't work at all for quite a few assemblies..
They hopefully are really actively working on fixing the issues for a SP or update.. There is another thread about it where one ADSK employee is collecting "problem" files so they can fix/find the issues..
Yes, we are still working for the remaining issues in the R2017 SP1.
If you see any issues, it will be better to include the datataset or some image with issue for easily investigation. You could send to me directly if you don't want to upload it to the forum.
Thanks!
