3D annotation User parameters

When editing the text for a 3D annotation (dimension).

Is it possible wto add an user parameter?

For example: 

<<<dimension>>>   -   [user parameter]

[blandb]

I don't believe so, I have tried and the area to get them is greyed out. But, I don't use 3D annotations. I could be missing something.

You can create a sketch text and place it alongside the dimension.
