2026 inventor issue

Hi Support,

I’m facing a recurring issue in Inventor 2026 that I never encountered in previous versions. I keep getting the following error:

SEVERITY_ERROR, facility: <Unknown Facility> ($FFFFFFFF)This happens repeatedly and is seriously impacting my work. In addition, file copy operations are consistently failing with a "file not found" error, even though the file does exist at the specified path. I’ve tried basic workarounds like verifying the path and copying files manually, but nothing resolves it.

This new update has made the software very unstable for me. Please look into this as it's affecting my workflow. Let me know if you need logs, error screenshots, or more details to investigate further.

Hi! The error indicates some sort of corruption. Please make sure all the critical Windows update, the latest graphics driver, and all the critical PC vendor updates are installed. Use Windows Disk Cleanup to remove cached files. Install 2026.1 update.

Please also make sure all file path plus file name including extension is less than 256 characters. Lastly, share a corrupted file with me directly at johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the corruption better.
