2019 Ribbon Appearance Issue

The company IT has recently installed 2019 version with updates to all our machines.

Here is the info:

Build 330, Release: 2019.4 Date: Mon 04/01/2019

Unlike older version that I currently use, the ribbon settings seem not working properly.

It doesn't make any changes when I select "Normal", "Text Off", "Small", "Compact" or "Large" in Ribbon Appearance.

Do you have similar experience? How to fix it?

BTW my colleage's 2019 is working fine with the update to "Build 278, Release: 2019.3" which is older than mine.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi! It does not sound right to me. Have you tried using Inventor Reset Utilities (All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor 2019 -> Tools) to reset the default settings?

Many thanks!

Sorry, I don't find the path that you mentioned above.

At the right end of the tab titles (the dark gray space above the tool icons) there is a tiny up arrow button with an even smaller drop-down arrow next to it-- click on the drop-down arrow and find the menu shown below; I believe that you have accidentally chosen Minimize to Panel Buttons.  Choose Cycle through All, then click the up arrow button to cycle back to the normal appearance.

Click the up arrow to cycle through the choices back to the default ribbon (three clicks should do it).

Amazing! How were You able to figure it out?! I couldn't see any connection between "cycling through minimalizations" and "not minimizing at all".

Experience, though that was far enough in the past that I might not have figured it out today.
