2018 Derived Assembly

Has anyone else noticed that the remove geometry by visibility > Whole parts only doesn't appear to work?

I check the same assy in 2017 and it will remove internal components, but not in 2018.

Hi! If the exact same assembly using the same Derive option leads to different results in 2017 and 2018, it is wrong. I need to see the files to understand the behavior better. If the assemblies are different, it is possible the visibility detection algorithm does not work well with the specific assembly. Could you share the files here or send them to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)?
