Test de Vault 2018

Bonjour,

j'ai sur mon poste une version de Inventor 2014, je souhaiterai tester Inventor 2018.

J'ai installé la version d'essai de Inventor 2018 à côté de la 2014.

Lorsque je lance Vault 2018, j'ai un message d'erreur qui m'indique que cette version n'est pas compatible avec la version du Vault Basic Server installé (18.0.86.0).

Seulement je ne trouve pas comment installer le serveur Vault 2018 et ensuite comment désactiver le serveur Vault 2014 le temps des tests.

Quelqu'un aurait-il déjà rencontré ce problème ?

I know this is a French speaking forum but I will tag @ThomasB44 for assistance.

If you already have a vault server 2014 installed, you will have to go through an upgrade process if you want to use your existing data in your testing.  Vault upgrade can only occur in 2 version step.  So you would have to upgrade your 2014 Vault data to 2016 and then again to the 2018 version to use it.  Meaning you would need a backup of your 2014 data and use that when installing Vault 2016.  Back it up again and then install 2018 version of Vault.  But you would do this on a separate machine in order not to impact your existing Vault infrastructure.

If you want to test without using your existing Vault data, again you will need another machine and install Vault server on it.

thank you for your answer.

I began a test on another machine, with no previous version of Inventor installed.

The point is, on this machine there is no Vault Server installed (localhost) and I don't find where to download a 2018 Version of Vault Server.

Go here: https://ava.autodesk.com/.   Type download and then select Vault Basic server from the list of products to download.

Si c'est pas trop tard vous pouvez télécharger les sources d'installation depuis votre centre de souscription. En cliquant sur télécharger Inventor, vous pourrez télécharger Vault serveur ou vault Client.

le problème est que le centre de téléchargement ne permet pas de télécharger Vault Server.

Mais le lien indiqué plus haut par Mark le permet en revanche.

Bonjour,

Par le centre d'abonnement ou de souscription on y arrive. Il faut aller sur le lien de téléchargement d'inventor ou d'autocad Mechanical.

Donc si vous n'avez pas ces produits dans votre compte en effet il n'est pas possible de le télécharger.
