Hello I&L community,

I would like to inform customers of an ongoing issue regarding a Windows 10 “Creators Update” released last week that seems to be preventing the launch of 3ds Max and Maya.

In one case a uninstall and reinstall of Visual C++ Runtime Libraries, as outlined in this link helped.

Updating to the latest supported Visual ++ redistributable files is another recommendation.

Lastly, you can consider temporarily rolling back the update by removing it in your Control Panel.
