Using software in other countries

Hello everyone,

I am exploring software options and am interested in freelance drafting while travelling. I heard or read somewhere a while back that this may be an issue with how the license works making it unable to use while abroad.  Does anyone know if this is actually the case, and if so, is there a work-around that Autodesk is ok with? Thanks in advance and thanks to anyone who replied to my first question that I may have missed thanking earlier. Cheers!

Hello @unstatusfiedblog, 

Autodesk subscribers with active contracts have what is called Global Travel rights they are a benefit of maintenance plans and subscriptions which permits the use of products and services worldwide while traveling outside the country of purchase. No request for this benefit is necessary.

Hi @natasha.l @, is this 100% accurate? I am going to be in a situation soon where I will be back and forth (6 months at a time) between Brazil and the USA. I am trading in my perpetual license of 3ds Max for a subscription and am very nervous on how this will affect me. Will I be able to use my 3ds Max subscription without any problems when I go back and forth?  Thanks in advanc
