C3D 2022
I have elevated privileges in order to be able to install C3D to my group's PC's. Everything went fine except for the machine sthat had 2021 on them - these were all problematic and required clean uninstall of all Autodesk products for the most part, restoration of C++ and .NET files then the installation of c3D 2022 would go and I can run the software.
There is one machine, though, that while I can run the app, regular users cannot. It flashes the configuring (for first use?) dialog with blue progress bar, then disappears. Acad.exe is not listed as a running process in Task manager. The dialog disappears too quickly to be sure of what it says. This would be the first use for these users.
The same users can log in to a different machine and run the app successfully, so it is apparently not an IT designated user privilege thing.
What could possibly prevent most users besides me from running the app?
