Upgrade download frozen

The Autodesk Update app (Windows) is telling me that there's an update available for Recap 2016 (the update from v1.5.0.33 to c2.0.0.255). Tried to download the upgrade, and the "Downloading..." indicator is visible, but nothing is downloading. Clicking on the "x" next to the indicator does nothing. Other available updates download and install without issue. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem is, and how to fix it?

Hello lpawlowicz and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you need to find out more about downloading or re-downloading software, or are having issues that may be resolved by re-downloading.

For Windows users, before downloading products on Windows 10, please check that the product is compatible.

Oftentimes installation and/or download issues can be addressed by using a different download method, or by downloading directly from the Autodesk Virtual Agent. Community members with similar issues found the following article(s) useful:

I really don't appreciate a bot that assumes I haven't tried looking up the problem online (wrong), and offers a cut-and-paste standard post that doesn't offer any solution except "try everything and see what works".  There's clearly a bug with the Update program, and that's what I'd like an answer for.

Steady.  Otto Bot doesn't have the Matrix of Leadership, so its a little unfair to expect wisdom on the level of Optimus Prime from it.

Have you tried downloading the update from the main page (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/recap/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-recap-quarter... I don't seem to have any problems doing so.
