Unable to install Revit 2024.3

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing Revit 2024.3. Every time I try to start the installation, I get the following error message:

"Unable to install. An error occurred while preparing the installation. Please try again or contact Autodesk Support." (See attached screenshot)

I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps like clearing the temp files, stopping Autodesk services, and running the installer as an administrator, but the issue persists. Could someone help me resolve this issue?

Can you provide more information regarding where you are getting the installation files from, and what method you are using?

You need to make sure that you are deleting the files that are in c:\Autodesk related to the install, and there may be other temp files, and you might also need to clear out the registry entries.  Just for reference in case you haven't come across this: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/2024-How-to-Comple...
