Make sure the Welcome Screen is loading for all 2011 AutoCAD versions you have installed and are installing the AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 Object Enabler onto. To do this:

1. Launch AutoCAD.

2. Type _welcomescreen at the commend line and press enter.

3. When the Welcome screen loads fill the checkmark for “Show this dialog at startup.”

4. Quit AutoCAD.

5. Retry the AutoCAD Raster Design 2011 Object Enabler install.

This may require the use of the Installer to turn on the Welcome Screen. Instructions for this can be found here.

Wouldn't this be easier for Autodesk to fix the installer for the object enabler?  This also should be looked at again for future releases.

There is no documentation or warning for the installation to include the optional "Welcome" screen. Because of the assumption that an object enabler would install if the host program is a valid version, we have 100's of installations to revisit to install this optional welcome screen just to put on this enabler.

On the bright side, there is one solution to fix this issue.  I searched for this before during our roll out and I didn't come up with anything.
