Hello,

I have noticed this error inside the log:

>> Install    Autodesk Material Library 2017    Failed    Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603

I believe that manually downloading the AutoCAD installation package could solve Your issue.

Try going to Autodesk Virtual Agent and downloading the installation (Part1+Part2), then extract the package and installation should start automatically (Installation files will be stored on C:\Autodesk  by default).

Will this help?

Download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

Good luck on your installation and report back on your progress.

Although @swieciakpawel asked for your installation log file and you were probably unaware of this..  But when you post or share stuff here, please make sure it doesn't include your personal information such as your serial #. This is a world wide user forum and that type of info should not be included in your posting. Granted the installation log file helped us to determine your root cause (but it did contain your serial #)... So in the future remove or blur it out before posting. I will have the moderator remove it in order to protect your information.

hello,

I have a different problem that i found no solution to.  I don't have enough space on my C driver for the installation to start. Is there a way to change the default folder that the program uses for extraction or whatever? I tried to reset the temporary folders in windows to my other driver but it did'nt solve the problem.

I hope my babbling is understandable. Thanks in advance!

Best Regards

Szabolcs

Thank You @Mark.Lancaster

I wasn't aware of such data being present in the installation log, and in future I will surely remember to consider it, before asking for anything that might contain fragile information.

Kind Regards,

Pawel
