Hi @Anonymous Welcome to Autodesk Community!

Please disable your firewall and anti-virus programs, and re-download AutoCAD 2018 from our Virtual Agent (click on Download Links, choose product and version). Then try the installation again.

Welcome to the community..

Your request or requirements are very generic and a failed installation can mean many things..   Without your installation log file we can only speculate what the issue at this point.  So post your installation file..  Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Hello @Anonymous,

If you have tried the Virtual Agent provided above please let us know.

To run as a trial during the last few steps you can click "Start a trial".

If you keep receiving an error please let us know and attach a log file. You can do this by going to the Windows Start > type Run in the search box (shortcut Win.key+R) and typing %TEMP% into the box and clicking OK.

Sort by Date or Name and find the Autodesk product and save the installation .log file. Please attach this log file to your reply.

This will help us determine the possible issue preventing you from installing your software.

Note: Log files sometimes contain private information such as serial numbers *SN, please remove this information.

 Please report back.

Please "Accept As Solution" if a reply has helped resolved the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.
