the software license check out failed. "Error 2" " 3d max 2014"

so i installed 3d max 2014 and before even using it this message is appearing every time i try to start it , could anyone help me please ?

I would uninstall it and re-install it.  Please use a browser download of the software and not use Install Now.

I would remove any folder in C:\Autodesk with WI or wi in it.
