Student needing access to generative design in revit 2021 for a few days

Hi my name is Anna Denvir and I am a student architectural technologist currently writing a paper on the use of generative design for space planning in educational buildings as a response to changing health guidelines (COVID). I had downloaded the Revit 2021 generative deign software in hopes to utilise it in my research , however the student license does not support the generative design aspect of the software. I am asking if I may please have permission and access to an AEC license for just a few days so that I may complete a few studies for my research paper. This is my final year of university and would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous

I recommend that you contact the Autodesk managers in your country or region, they will be able to tell you if it is possible to assign the tool for days or as long as they deem appropriate.
Here in my country I managed to do it in a 'word agreement' deal with the managers, who granted me a license not for sale, to carry out my research project.

Another thing is to write directly to those people to work in Revit, in the official forum you can connect with the developers, you will see that they have the Autodesk icon as a profile photo.

Hi Anna-

As a student, you do have access to Revit Generative Design via your Autodesk Education Plan. You can enable Revit Generative Design by visiting the Get Products page in the Education Community, clicking "Get product," and then the "ACCESS" button on the Revit Generative Design card:

After you do that, Revit Generative Design will be enabled in Revit for you.

Hope that helps. and good luck with your paper.
