Student license not registered due to "systems issue over the weekend"

Hello!

I recently tried to activate my student licens but due to a systems issue according to Autodesk, it was only registered as a 30-day trial account. Now I'm not sure how I can re-activate my account to an education-account.

I got these steps within an email from Autodesk:

To convert the trial to an education subscription please do the following:

  1. Launch the software product.
  2. Close the trial menu prompt.
  3. Open the account management (top right-hand corner) in the application and choose manage license.
  4. Click "Activate" or "Manage License"
  5. Click the "Sign in” option in the Let's Get Started Window
  6. The software will require a relaunch.
  7. Once the software re-launches you will be asked to login.
  8. Your software should validate as the education version.

However, I'm not able to "activate" anything except the already activated trial version. Neither can I manage the trial version or see any kind of option for education. I'm completely lost, and no idea how to proceed.
