Hi,
I'm currently having a problem installing Revit 2017 software for student, I've been trying to install it for 2 days now since I format my laptop last 3 days. I've tried uninstalling as well as reinstalling the microsoft c++ etc as stated in some solution for this problem. I've also tried installing from the virtual agent but nothing seems to work. I'll be starting my next semester shortly and I really desperately need to reinstall it and I'm honestly at a loss. Attached here is the photo and installation log of my failed installation. I would really really appreciate it if my problem can be solved.
Thank you, please, thank you very much,
Dalia.

Try running the installer directly. Browse to and double-click the exe file
C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_Revit_2017_English_Win_64bit_dlm\3rdParty\x64\VCRedist\2005SP1ATL\vcredist_x64.exe
If there are any errors, it should display them and you can post it here.
Depending on the error, we may be able to avoid installing Visual C++ 2005 SP1 by commenting it out of the setup.ini file.

Hi,
Sorry but I tried to install it referring to the solution, the same problem still occur. I uninstalled microsoft c++ 2008, 2010, and 2012 as stated and left the 2005 one.
Thanks
Hello @Anonymous,
The AIDA tool can help you find the root cause of a 1619 error, so give it a try and post the results if you need our help.
1. Download the installation executable from the following link to download AIDA.
2. Double-click the executable and click the “Install” button
3. Accept the license agreement and click “next”
4. Click the “Install” button. The install should complete in 1-2 minutes. Click “finish” when complete
5.Launch AIDA. The one click functionality should detect the most recent install log file containing errors and provide an output HTML file.
6.If the utility is unable to detect a log file with errors, you can click the "load logs" button and manually locate the log which will have a naming convention of "[Product Name] Setup.log" for the product that had the install failure.
7.If the utility is unable to provide you with a solution, click the "Create Zip File Button" to save a zip file with all the logs and analysis associated to with the install.

Note: The file names for each download are the same, so be sure to not overwrite a prior one before installing it. Download one, install it, then download the next, install it, etc.
