Single user licence management for 2018 products

Hi, 

I'm Landry, Autodesk products administrator for my company ORANGE CI. 

We have Autocad Map 3D 2018 installed on all the computers of my team which worked previously with multi-user licence type. Last month we upgraded the multi-user licence type to single user licence type. Since this time we are not able to run our products with this type of licence. You can find in attachement the Windows shown at the loading of the application.

 

We already follow all the help below but no change.

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I have listed some steps you can take when experiencing software access issues in a restricted environment, let me know if you work in an environment that is heavily restricted. 

 

Please conduct the steps outlined below: 

 

  • Verify that the firewall/proxy is configured to allow unrestricted and anonymous access to Autodesk sites
  • Install the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 & make sure it is running 
  • Apply all application updates from your Autodesk Account 
  • If you are using HTTPS Inspection, this could break the certificate revocation check. Make sure you disable this feature for the domains *.autodesk.com
  • If you use GPO it can restrict third-party certificate registration or revocation, refer to this article to check the Certificate Path Validation Settings Properties of your GPO
  • Replace the damaged Root Certificates using the steps outlined here 

If you continue to experience issues accessing Autodesk software in your environment you may need to consult with a Autodesk sales representative or reseller.

Is this an environment with advanced security & restricted web access?

Hi Natasha,

 

It is a normal security environment with no web restriction. The web acces is done through a proxy.

You mentioned internet access is through a proxy, please make sure you followed the first step provided above:

  • Verify that the firewall/proxy is configured to allow unrestricted and anonymous access to Autodesk sites

Customers with single-user subscriptions are required to login to validate user license entitlements. These specific URLs or protocols need to be allowed to pass through the proxy to allow for Autodesk subscription licensing validation. 

 

To try and narrow down the issue temporarily disable all 3rd party security applications or features one at a time. Like GPO, Firewall, Proxy, UAC, Antivirus & VPN, then try logging in. If you can log in to the Autodesk application then it confirms it is something in the environment and not the Autodesk software. Keep us posted. :cara_que_sonríe_con_ojos_sonrientes:
