Dear,

in Single User Licence Agreement it is stated that:

"A Named User may access Autodesk Account and/or Install and/or Access Benefits on multiple Computers, provided that a Named User may not be Logged On to Autodesk Account or Accessing Benefits on more than three (3) Computers simultaneously"

does this mean that theoretically I can install the product on 10 computers but only work on three at the same time?

I am currently using the product on three computers, but I plan to replace one computer soon, so I would like to be sure that I will still be able to use the product on new computer...

thanks for the answer

No,

It means you can install and activate it on 3 devices and only use 1 at a time

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Maximum-number-of-...

Issue:

If there is a limit on the number of computers where a subscription with single-user access can be installed and activated.

Solution:

A subscription with single-user access is activated when a Named User signs in with an Autodesk Account when the software is launched. Single-user subscription licensed software can be installed on up to three different computers. See Software License Agreement.

However, the Named User must log out in order to sign in to a different machine because the Named User can only sign in and use that software on a single computer at any given time.

Dear,

your answer is valid in the case of an individual program license, but for my case the contract clearly states that it is possible to install programs on multiple computers and use them on only three at the same time... besides I am at the moment using one licence on only three computers (and there is no problems) but I would like to know that there will be no problem when I replace one of my computers with new one... becouse new one will be fourth computer...

Does anyone have same experience?

For:

multiple computers and use them on only three at the same time.

If you have 3 licenses you can use 3 at a time.

1 license - 1 PC. That's it .. FOR ALL of the software / doesn't matter the license type.

Why would Autodesk have 1 license and let it be used on 3 seats.  They would lose money.  1000 seats purchased and 3000 seats able to use it ..

Like @ivan.medvedHU363 says - the Autodesk Subscription Terms and Conditions for single-user do specify it like that. See 2.4.4: "2.4.4  A Named User may access Autodesk Account and/or Install and/or Access Benefits on multiple Computers, provided that a Named User may not be Logged On to Autodesk Account or Accessing Benefits on more than three (3) Computers simultaneously"

Autodesk today expects and wants every one of us to log in and out of each Autodesk Software when you switch computers, if your older license states something else (like install on up to three computers blah blah blah) you'll most likely have to make an effort to log out of all three computers' Autodesk software, do what you need to one of them, then start logging in and out of each Autodesk Software on your two old computers PLUS one new computer moving forward.

If you need Autodesk to state what you can and cannot do formally, this forum is not the place for that: from your accounts page seek out Autodesk Support, or contact a reseller in your region to provide you with the legal statement.

Best wishes.

Dear,

I said that I successfully use one license on three computers and you keep repeating that it is not possible... yes it is possible and I have been doing it successfully since I bought the license, so please do not give me any more advice about anything I didn't ask... sorry if I'm too honest

and now you have this happen if it catches it:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Device-limit-reach...

Caught using more seats than you have licensing for, can get you audited and HEFTY fines.

For;

 so please do not give me any more advice about anything I didn't ask... sorry if I'm too honest

I'd relax a little   .. real easy to just fill this out:

To me, this contradicts the legal notice:

2.4.4  A Named User may access Autodesk Account and/or Install and/or Access Benefits on multiple Computers, provided that a Named User may not be Logged On to Autodesk Account or Accessing Benefits on more than three (3) Computers simultaneously;

It clearly says you may not use 'benefits' on more than 3 pc's simultaneous. Ambiguous to say the least?
