RomanS true type font distrubution

I am developing a non-AutoCAD related application that needs the RomanS true type font (romans__.ttf) available in Excel. This application will be distributed without cost. I would like to know if I can include that font file with my application. Thank you.

what does this have to do with Autodesk?

The TTF file properties shows that it is copyrighted by Autodesk in 1998. But it's not clear if the file can be freely distributed.

Actually, resellers don't deal with questions regarding file copyrights and distribution; they just sell software. Because this font is distributed with Autodesk DWG TrueView, and available on the web, it seems that free distribution would be allowed with other applications. But I'm trying to get that confirmed by someone who works for Autodesk, such as their licensing team, etc.

I asked my reseller yesterday out of curiosity and they send me the info @mdavis22569 posted above.

I guess it depends on the reseller and your relationship if any with them.
