Revit 2024.2 install failing - no access to cloud models?

I am trying my hardest to re-install Revit 2024. It has installed EASILY until this particular update of 2024.2 is included in the install. Yes, I have done everything it suggests. Yes, I have cleared the registry. On my seventh attempt and monitors close to going out of the window. Anyone else had this issue?

Hi Shaun

The could not access network location error is a good indication that some remnants from a previous installation remain on this system.  I would recommend uninstalling Revit 2024 using the traditional add/remove programs workflow.  Then manually delete any of the following registry keys that were not removed by the uninstall process:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\UPI2\{29B0C913-DAF1-4152-8AE7-A3623A1D4AA0}

This should leave your system in a clean state where Revit 2024 and the 2024.2 update can be installed successfully.

Don't have a solution for your problem but I wonder - I regularly see forum posts of Expert Elite Members. I thought they would have a more direct way to contact Autodesk support persons?
