Hello @kstanwick

Thanks for posting during our office hours. This error typically appears when the Autodesk licensing services need to be updated. Please refer to the "The License manager is not functioning or is improperly installed" article for guidance.

yes thanks yes from my reading I would say correct....however. I am still
getting the error.

My next solution is to just reimage the PC as half of the lab PCs are
working fine.

I will continue this as I solve my problems. All of your suggestions in
the forums are not helping.

Thanks for your offer....but I'm way past this part. Sad the support for a
product has such a limiting way to get it resolved.

thanks Kurt

What happens if you re-install / update the license service on the problem-machines?

But to add:

Check your permissions and antivirus ..

Also, try having a student that can log in on a good PC go to one of these and try logging in. If they can't, it's likely a profile / permissions issue. If they can't, it' likely something software ( or still PC / Permission )

Trying to eliminate things

Yes I did. I was referred to a link to get the licensing manager update.
I believe I have already tried this. I am trying it again. I will let you
know about the results.

OK so I did just try and update the installer file and it still gave me the
error message. What we are doing now is re imaging the PC. We just did
one and it worked so something must have gotten corrupted during the
imaging process that made REVIT 2023 fail.

This is a fix that maybe should be posted since the license update
installer did not work. Documentation shows that this was all for old
versions of your product and did not apply to REVIT 2023 at all.

I will keep this updated as we go.

thanks for everyone's concern as I am going to copy and paste this reply
into the other inquiries

Awesome.....So can you help get my other tech guy into our High School
account? He is locked out of it. I guess only one person or email address
can access our High School account? I have also tried to manage users, and
that link is a broken one.... Please let me know if you can assist with
that ongoing headache for the past month...or if you can point me into the
proper direction, that would be fantastic as well.

thanks Kurt

Update to this issue.  Not that there is a fix but what we did was re image the PCs that had failed.  We opened up both AUTOCAD 2023  and REVIT 2023.  Once we opened them and verified they are working, we joined the domain, added MS Office 2019 and finally McAfee.  Win 11 on Dell Precision 3431.  We also added M.2 one Tb drives vs the existing 256Gb. drives.  Our Cloning was used with a USB Clonezilla boot stick and SSD external drives.   The image size for this lab was about 110Gb.  I hope this helps other people who are having issues.   Note:  This is with the stand alone license downloads for CAD, REVIT, INVENTOR, 3DMAX and MAYA 2023.
