REVIT 2021 - student license expired

Hi there,

I have a student account that allows access to all Autodesk products until Feb 2022, currently, I have no access to any Autodesk Software as apparently, my licences have expired when my account clearly states that it is valid until Feb 2022, I have installed Revit and AutoCAD, redownloaded them and once again the issue of my Autodesk for education license has expired message keeps popping up, see below

After following the steps of restarting my access and proving that I am eligible the same cycle keeps happening where I simply do not have access to Revit or AutoCAD!!!

This is very annoying as I am in the last year of my University Degree and due to a pandemic called Covid-19 have no access to university computers or their license keys.

Any Idea??

I am having the exact same problem and have been trying for days to get someone at Autodesk support to help but they have been no help at all.  I have tried everything they suggested I do including uninstalling and doing a fresh install but nothings is working.  If you find a solution please post it here and I will do the same if I find a solution.

Sounds related to something we went through yesterday.  Try resetting your account password.  You don't need to change your password - just go through the motions to change it and use your current password for the new password.

Please be aware that our licenses are not educational, so maybe our situation doesn't apply here.  But, it's a lead you can follow if you choose.  Good luck.

I tried changing my password but that did not help.

The article linked was about annually renewing student access to Autodesk products, but my account was already renewed and it shows I have access through February 2022.  But still when I start Revit it shows Access Expired.

Yes, this problem is very annoying, I have resorted to uninstalling all Autodesk software and re downloading it all to see it that makes a difference, I'll let you know if this fixes the issue

I tried that as well, but it made no difference. I also tried installing an older version of Revit but that made no difference either.

Hi,

Great News I've fixed the issue.

Once I had deleted all Autodesk software from my laptop even the material libraries and the Autodesk Desktop App, I created a new Autodesk account with a new email and linked that to my University, once that had been verified I redownloaded the Autodesk desktop app and signed into that account (only this account no other accounts). I then used my new account to download the student software once again and for some reason I got an email to verify this occurring. I tried to install it at first but this failed so I recommend downloading instead and following the steps.

I hope this helps and this is definitely an issue that Autodesk NEED to solve ASAP !!

Hello, I have a student account which allows access to all Autodesk products until February 2022. I'm currently in school and so my license has actually expired, but I'm using this account almost exclusively for resumehelpservices.com learning AutoCAD and 3ds Max and may soon need access to . Can you help me get an extension so that I can continue working on these products without any restrictions? thank you so much!

@behanthomas  Sign up for a new Educational license. That's how you get your extension.

Has to be for educational use or you need to pay for a license
