Revit 2018 will not install windows 10

I've tried several times, each time taking over an hour, to install Revit 2018 on Windows 10 Surface.  About an hour in there is an "Unknown Error".  The installation finishes and says "Installation Complete, some products failed to install".... but actually ALL of the products failed to install.  When I try to restart the installation I get an error message that reads: "Communication Failure. Download and installation has been interrupted by a lost connection between the Autodesk website and this computer. The most likely causes are...."

There are no network problems on my end -- everything else on the computer works just fine.  Restarting the installation just generates this message over and over until I reboot, then it does the same thing and hangs on the same "unknown error" and loops into the same errors.

Attached is the log file.  Any help would be great because this computer is a doorstop until this is resolved.

Download the installation file completely before running it.

@Base12 and @Anonymous the same person or two different users?

@Base12

Are you trying to install a trial version of Revit 2018?  Your log is indicated that.  Please clarify if you are a student or you have a commercial license.

Sorry for the confusion -- yes, JP and Stewart were the same person accidentally logged in on the other's account.

Initially, we tried to install the full licensed version but got trapped in the communication error loop, so we tried to go the free-trial route considering that we would simply plug our license in when prompted... but that gave us the same errors.

We did not initially discern that the link to download the installation file fist was different than the "Choose Save or Run" option.  Once we saw the link and downloaded it with the Download Manager, then everything seemed to go just fine and we were able to install it from the local file.

Thank you for the suggestions.

JP.
