The computer techs and support personnel at my company can't fix my Revit 2017 to open. It was fine until yesterday morning and wouldn't open up on my Windows 8 Enterprise OS. They gave me local admin rights and said follow this link:
I followed this yesterday and this morning and it still wouldn't open, and I get the attached message. My fellow coworkers do not have this problem, just my computer.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

This is normally related to a C++ issue on your machine. Has your support group reviewed the Windows Event logs around the time this occurred for errors and warnings?

Dear Mark,
Thank you, I am still waiting for response from our internal support as it wouldn't open yesterday. It seemed to work fine Monday and I was out of the office Tuesday. Last week I had to get admin rights and my supervisor and an outside source worked quite a bit on Friday to get it working for Monday. Yesterday, I no longer had admin rights and the dialogue asked for elevation. No one from internal support has responded and we think it may have something to do with the admin rights. Thank you for your time and guidance - Pam
